Weighing Platforms; Bench and Floor Mounted Scales.

The name of Vishay Nobel is most often associated with the weighing of vessels for the process manufacturing industries. Perhaps less well known is our wide variety of general purpose and specialist load carriers designed to the same high standards of ruggedness and reliability.
Vishay Nobel supplies and manufactures a wide range of conventional weighing platforms, but also caters for specialist requirements in hostile environments, hygienic applications and flammable atmospheres.

PV4-S, Floor Mounted Weigh Scale.

A rugged and reliable general purpose industrial floor mounting scale combining simplicity of construction with an excellent measurement performance in ranges from 500kg to 2500kg. The construction is a one piece integral deck, which can be washed down, with four adjustable levelling feet. Stainless steel and polished surfaces are optionally available as are Intrinsically Safe versions.

BV4. Bench Mounted Weigh Scale.

The BV4, available in capacities from 3kg to 300kg, is a robust and economic platform. It is shock proofed with extremely high overload capacity. The entire assembly is designed for general industrial use and can be washed down. Stainless steel construction, IP68 protection and Hazardous Area versions are optionally available.

PV4-U Pallet Platform.

The PV4-U is a general purpose industrial floor mounting scale specifically designed for loading by pallet trucks. The construction is a one piece U-shaped deck, which can be washed down, and four adjustable levelling feet. The frame is fitted with a lifting handle at the rear and roller wheels at the front which are clear of the floor in the weighing position. Stainless steel, polished surfaces and IS versions are optionally available. Available in ranges from 500kg to 2500kg.

PV4-D Drum Weighing Platform.

The PV4-D is designed for low profile loading with a nominal 35mm loading height. The construction is a one piece U-shaped deck with a reinforced centre deck, which can be washed down, and adjustable levelling feet. A loading ramp can be fitted at the front. Stainless steel, polished surfaces and IS versions are optionally available. Nominal range: 500kg.

Custom Built Platforms.

The requirements for measurements on load platforms in the process industries are diverse, and in many cases, standard products cannot be used. Vishay Nobel specialises in platforms designed for individual requirements such as weighing systems for use in sterile clean areas to durable systems operating in the "toughest" end of a steelworks. Examples of these include ultra-low profile platforms, tilting platforms, turntable platforms and heavy duty platforms.

Skip Weigher (GW). The Vishay Nobel Skip Weigher overcomes contamination problems associated with conventional platforms. Capacity is 200kg with 0.1kg resolution and +/-0.2kg accuracy.

Wall Scale (PKD). Taking up no floor space, these scales can be fitted simply to a pillar or a wall. The load carrier may be a container, bag holder or virtually any type of device. Capacities range from 20 to 1000kg.

Overhead Track Weighing Scale (HV2). Replacing a section of normal overhead track, the HV2 track scale is simple to install and operate. Since it does not have any physical connection with the rest of the track and with the absence of additional stays and reinforcements, the installation is also inexpensive. Alternative sections can be supplied, with capacities of up to 800kg.
