Pressure Transmitters

P9420 Range ..ATEX Approved

The P9420 Series of Pressure Transmitters are specifically designed for oilfield measurement applications and other duties requiring the highest levels of stability and reliability in rugged operational environments. These transmitters employ the latest developments in ceramic-diaphragm sensor technology. A four-arm strain-gauge bridge circuit, fused into the ceramic at 1000°C, is connected to a 4-20mA  2-wire current amplifier; all housed in a heavy duty stainless steel body. Available in ranges up to 15,000PSIs (1000bar) and with <0.15% accuracy, they can be supplied with a variety of terminations and ports to cover a wide range of connection requirements appropriate to the oilfield equipment user.

As standard, the wetted parts material comply with NACE MR-01-75 Revision 03 Sour Gas and endow these sensors with resistance to a wide range of corrosive media.
The P9420 Series Pressure Transmitters all ATEX certified for use in “All-Zones - All Gases” Hazardous Atmospheres (potentially explosive) with simple cabling and isolation techniques and materials.

The basic connection is a Male-Sub profile to mate with 2" Fig 1502 Hammer-Lug Union components from a wide range of proprietary manufacturers. The suffix "-A" types embody a 2" Fig 2202 Male-Sub connection.
The "-85X" variants of the P9420 provide secondary-containment of process pressure within the transmitter casing to the full proof-pressure rating of the connection union. The "80X" variants are similar transmitters but without the secondary-containment boundry seal.
As with the P9420 transmitters, the -800 Series feature ATEX certification, ultra rugged stainless steel construction and resistance to a wide range of corrosive media.

840 Series

A series of high pressure 4-20mA 2 wire transmitters, available in ranges from 0-15,000 psi to 0-60,000 psi with up to 0.25% accuracy. Incorporating a bonded strain gauge sensor and encapsulated electronics housed within a rugged all-welded stainless steel casing, this transmitter has found wide acceptance in arduous applications and is covered by a two year warranty. 840 Series transmitters are used in mud logging, BOP control systems, process plant monitoring as well as drilling instrumentation and wellhead control systems.
