Vishay Nobel have been using the unique patented KIS load beam to provide solutions to complex weighing problems for over 30 years. We count amongst our U.K. clients many of the major players in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries.

A tank mounted on a simple - single cantilever shear force load cell. This type of transducer can give satisfactory performance in less demanding applications at a lower cost.

Our success depends on a combination of excellent products with the technical expertise to apply those products to the solution of a wide variety of applications. Using load cells to weigh process vessels that are subject to an assortment of - sometimes obvious - but often subtle, environmental and process variables requires knowledge and experience. Vishay Nobel has amassed a wealth of such experience and is more than willing to share this knowledge with industry. Training and education are available free on a formal or informal basis.

A weighing instrumentation system containing over 70 intrinsically safe protected load cell transmitters linked to a host computer using dedicated communication software. The cabinet also incorporates specialised batch control facilities using PLC's.

Vishay Nobel also manufactures electronic instrumentation to complement their load cells. We are able to supply a range of packages from simple transmitters to full batch weighing control systems. We supply systems which are compliant with the latest CE directives, including electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage, and the, soon to be implemented, ATEX directive. These are tailored to suit each application by our own dedicated team of engineers based in Bedford who can take your need and translate it into a hardware and software solution.

Silos of in excess of 600 tonnes gross weight can be weighed using single or double ended shear force load cells from the Vishay Nobel range.

Our latest Generation 3 instrumentation series uses state of the art micro electronics to provide compact, flexible and cost effective instrument modules. We have in-house facilities for software development and panel building and will project manage your requirements from inception to final commissioning and after sales service.
