Vishay Nobel field service and in-house Service Engineers are available to assist you in getting the most from your Vishay Nobel equipment. Our Field Service Engineers are available for the commissioning and calibration of all our equipment and to perform on-site maintenance. Together with our in-house repair and calibration facilities they enable us to provide you with the maximum performance and reliability from your Vishay Nobel equipment.

Due to our expertise, using our facilities provides a cost-effective alternative to using in-house personnel or independent service organisations.

Vishay Nobel Service Engineers are equipped and trained to perform a wide range of calibration procedures. Our service includes computer generated documentation of the results and traceability of the methods and equipment used.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and are registered under BS EN ISO 9001. Our engineers use the Inst. MC Code of Practice WGC0496 for our on-site procedures.

• General Weighing System Inspection.

  • Perform inspection of entire system; examine all piping connections, vessel supports and ceiling attachments.
  • Determine best calibration method based on customer requirements.
  • Identify and make recommendations to correct mechanical problems.

  • Inspect all cells, installation and use of correct mounting hardware.
  • Perform electrical tests to verify cell electrical and mechanical integrity.
  • Conduct cell balance test to ensure proper system weight distribution.

  • Test all inputs and outputs for correct operation.
  
  

• System Calibration.

  • Shim vessels where required and calibrate as per customer requirements.
  • Produce calibration certificates after analysis of the results and supply to customer.

  • Material substitution using a combination of weights and water/product substitution.
